It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Simon Brownson, 65, on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020.
Simon came to Canada from England in 1957 and lived most of his life in the Peterborough area. He lived a life full of generosity, kindness and friendship. An avid tea drinker, he loved music, airplanes, Terry’s Chocolate Oranges, motor sports, and his home on Indian River.
He had a passion and incredible talent for auto body work, motorcycle mechanics and fixing just about anything he could get his hands on. Simon will be fondly remembered as a father, a brother, a best friend, a tinkerer, a teacher, a green thumb and a walking Seinfeld encyclopedia. Those who knew him know that he lived for his “three kids”: his daughter Molly, his son Gabe, and his chihuahua Ruby.
A celebration of his life will be held once the warmer weather arrives. Thank you to all who have sent condolences and support. He will be deeply missed.
